Job Title: Business Development & Marketing Executive - SaaS

Years Of Experience: 2+ years

Location: Ahmedabad

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Direct experience with and established executive-level relationships with Renewable energy Asset Owners

  • Experience in SaaS OR PaaS products is a must

  • Experience and knowledge will be an advantage but we can groom a keen learner in planning and engineering, field operations, and construction in a utility context

  • Keen interest and understanding of Energy, Solar, Renewable energy Asset management concepts in a fieldwork environment

  • Cold calling to acquire new accounts in India & also scout for opportunities to develop clients Internationally too

  • Strengthen relationship with customers

  • Develop prospects through LinkedIn and other professional/ social media platforms

  • Aggressively generate new leads and opportunities in the target market utilizing best-practice methods and also using marketing tools and techniques and strategies

  • Qualify prospects and leads to identify relevant business opportunities

  • Represents product and company at trade shows and exhibition

  • Trains customers on our product, create English/Spanish support documentation and develops workarounds to pressing platform issues when they can’t be immediately fixed (we’re a small team).

  • Organizes private and public webinars to foster partnerships with big players in the Renewable energy business

  • Get monthly customer satisfaction reviews

  • Serves as a liaison between our external customers and engineering team to build a roadmap and potentially new features and bug fixes



  • Accurately forecast sales revenue, based on in-depth understanding and sound judgment, taking into account revenue recognition implications

  • Excellent complex and strategic selling skills are essential since the primary target is large enterprise size companies

  • Selling multiple products concurrently

  • Prepare RFP responses and strategy

Technical strengths:

  • Strategic sales skills to manage large complex and global accounts

  • A technical grasp in order to add value to customer discussions and translate product strengths into business benefit
